About Programme

The CEGC specializes in the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and has extensive experience in preparing Project Design Documents (PDD) for CDM projects. The organization has played a key role in organizing both international and national workshops to raise awareness and facilitate the exchange of knowledge in this area. In addition to these efforts, CEGC provides technical consultancy services and organizes capacity-building activities across the country.

Capacity Building and Training Programs

A) General Training and Capacity Building:

  • Target Audience: Various stakeholders including IFS officers, policy makers, technocrats, students, and interested individuals.

  • Focus: Enhancing knowledge and skills related to the Clean Development Mechanism and other environmental initiatives.

B) Specialized Capacity Building Programs:

  • Target Audience: Professionals in related fields and students of Environmental Science, Economics, Law, and Journalism.

  • Focus: In-depth training tailored to the specific needs of these groups, enhancing their expertise in environmental issues and the Clean Development Mechanism.

Subsidies for SC/ST and OBC Categories

Students and candidates from the SC/ST and OBC categories can benefit from an additional 25% subsidy on the total fee for the capacity building programs. This initiative is aimed at making these educational opportunities more accessible and promoting inclusivity in the field of environmental science and policy.
