About Us

Established in 2023

Set up as a registered trust under the Indian Trusts Act, the Centre for Sustainable Green Economy is focused on collaborative projects involving the central and state governments and their agencies for the effective implementation of policies, programs, and initiatives across India. This collaborative approach ensures alignment of efforts with broader government strategies and can potentially lead to more widespread adoption of sustainable practices.

CSGE prioritizes its goals of promoting sustainable economic development, inclusive prosperity, ecological conservation, and, climate action without the motive of generating profits for trustees.

Overall, the Centre’s unique activities combine ground-connected research, and collaboration with stakeholders such as national, international, and governmental organizations. Its not-for-profit structure positions itself well to contribute significantly to the goals of sustainable development in India and beyond.
